How did we become leo fans...

In the beginning of 1999 we moved to the house with a big garden and decided to buy a dog. We have had little children so we needed a friendly dog, but he also had to be big enough to scare away the unwanted guests. A computer program Microsoft Dogs helped us with our choice. After we typed in required information and the program analysed them, it said the best breed for us was leonberger.

We found out that in Litvinov, which is only about 10kms from our house, there is a kennel Z Janovského lesa. They were expecting puppies in the spring of 1999. And so we decided and finally brought home little Felix who lived with us for beautiful 8 years.

In the spring of 2007 we got Felix a little friend. It was Bugsy and he got on pretty well with Felix who tried to teach him all necessary leonberger duties. But Felix could not finish this because at the end of the year 2007 he got seriously ill and after few days he passed away.

We recognized a big exhibition potencial of Bugsy. So after he took part in youth show and was very successful, we got another weekend activity - the Dog Shows. You can find the overview and results in Dog Shows. We made this website to be able to share the newest information about Bugsy with you.
